I've been watching a bunch of these AoT reactions and I noticed something: there is quite a difference between Anime veterans and Anime newbies. There are certain scenes that Anime veterans have no trouble understanding, while the newbies tend to get confused and some even start making up wild theories based on misunderstandings. Like that first Sascha, Crista and Ymir scene where Sascha dashed and grabbed that bread from Crista's hand with her mouth. I saw a reactor duo actually believe that she had superhuman abilities. 😂 While that's a funny anecdote it's also annoying as hell while watching. It's a lot more fun to watch someone like this dude who doesn't stumble over the most basic things and understand scenes right away like they are meant to be understood.

Why are titans attacking Reiner? It's the same as titans attacking Eren or Ymir. Those titans know the diff between regular titans and titan-shifters and want to eat the human because REASONS. 16:01 And that's the reason there was a character you saw all through s1, hanging out with the rest of the gang, who was never named. To make this scene, and the ilse OVA, special. 19:02 the assorted subtitles on this line are all over the place. You saw the version I saw - and all I could tell was that she said something Other versions have the correct text, "Welcome Back." And THAT makes the scene mindblowing. Peak AOT. 1:28:45 Eren doesn't understand "monkey" because nobody inside the walls has seen a monkey or knows what one is.

I know the EP6 reveal was insane, but knowing how much he likes Marco's character, I was more excited about that and he did not disappoint 1:24:15

The regular titans are attacking Reiner and Bertolt, simply put, because not all human-titans (like Eren and Reiner) have the power to control other titans' actions. We know Eren can't (at least, he couldn't until that one strange moment), and Reiner wouldn't have let himself get bit if he could control titans himself. So, there must be some rules, but we don't know what those rules are. Annie can call for titans to help her because she can, but we don't know why she can. The big talking monkey titan apparently can too,and even better, but we don't know why. Maybe it's just part of their titan's powers, like how Reiner has armor body and Bertolt has giant burning steam body. Neither Reiner or Bertolt have shown any ability to command regular titans. That's all.

The armor/collosal titan reveal in the manga is even more subtle and its amazing, just a little text bubble in the backround of another panel.

Please nobody explain the titan on titan violence. I was spoiled, do not ruin this man's fun.

The Ymir-Christa-Connie centered episodes has good many breadcrumbs of Reiner's identity. - him consoling Connie & being on the backfoot reg Connie's mom titan - implies he knows the secret of the identity of titans ( that they're humans ) - with Ymir - he figured out Ymir, clear... but it's a red herring... (literally & figuratively damn it lmao). Reiner understood 'herring' , something found only in salt water bodies, meaning Ymir figured out Reiner as well. - then the obv giveaway with Bertholdt's 'warrior' reference, which confirmed Bertholdt's secret identity as well. (provided one remembers Annie's words)

AOT is a hectic anime, had to watch it a scene a couple of times. A small hint each scene always gives something away in the future by how its shot or what the character said or the character (features) design of person. I'm a fan of your channel and AOT its a thriller/ horror in anime form. I kept on asking why, how and when during the series.

Heyo I was just gonna let you know that there are a few different sets of subtitles depending on what site/service you are watching the show on, and the one you guys are using has kinda bad and off translations at times! Crunchyroll has the good subtitles just to let you know if you wanna try that, the wording is much less clunky imo. But no worries if not, you do you! You are killing it with the reactions 👍
